EXCLUSIVE Set in the gated community of Monte Mayor, Benahavís, this beautifully refurbished and furnished townhouse is a special home, far removed from the busy coast. It enjoys open views across the surrounding mountains and towards the Mediterranean, with a south-west orientation that brings plenty of natural light and afternoon sun. The property sits in the protected countryside of Monte Mayor, yet the coast is only a short drive away. The A-7 is around 15 minutes from the property, giving easy access to Marbella, Estepona, San Pedro de Alcántara and Puerto Banús. Benahavís village and Cancelada are about 12 to 15 minutes by car, and the Costa del Sol beaches are a similar drive. Golf is a major attraction in this part of Benahavís, with several well-known courses nearby, and the surrounding hills offer plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors. International schools, supermarkets, restaurants and other everyday amenities are also within easy driving distance. This home is for someone who wants the best of both worlds: peace, views, and nature, with the coast still close enough for everyday life.
The townhouse has 181 m² of built space and has been fully upgraded, with a clean, contemporary interior that complements Monte Mayor's traditional architecture. The main living area is bright and comfortable, with a modern fireplace as its focal point and large windows and doors bringing in views and natural light. The open-plan kitchen has been designed for both cooking and everyday living, with white cabinetry, integrated appliances, a large central island and a good connection with the dining and living areas. The layout also makes it easy to move outside, with direct access from the living room and bedrooms to the main terrace. This is one of the most appealing parts of the property, with a private swimming pool, outdoor dining area and separate chill-out space. Plenty of room lets you enjoy long lunches, relax in the sun, or spend an evening outside. Two guest bedrooms are on the ground floor, both with en-suite bathrooms, plus a separate guest toilet. The upper floor is dedicated to the master bedroom, which has its own en-suite bathroom and access to another private terrace. From here, the views across the mountains and towards the sea are particularly impressive. The combination of three bedrooms, three en-suite bathrooms, an additional guest toilet, generous terraces and a private pool makes the property equally suited to full-time living, holidays or a second home on the Costa del Sol.
Monte Mayor is one of those locations where the setting is as important as the property itself. The community is gated and benefits from 24-hour security, with a low-density layout that preserves much of the surrounding natural landscape. The elevated position gives the homes a sense of space and privacy, while the views extend across the hills towards the Mediterranean. Despite the peaceful setting, the property is well connected by road. The A-7 provides a direct route along the coast, with Marbella, Puerto Banús and San Pedro to the east and Estepona to the west. Benahavís is close by and well known for its restaurants and traditional village atmosphere, while the coastal towns offer a much wider choice of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, beach clubs, and services. Families have a choice of international schools in the wider Marbella and Estepona area, and the location also works well for those who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle. Golf courses, beaches, hiking routes, cycling and water sports are all within easy reach. What makes this townhouse stand out is the balance it offers. You can wake up to mountain and sea views, spend the afternoon by your own pool and still be on the coast for dinner. It offers space and privacy without feeling disconnected from everything the Costa del Sol has to offer.
